It rained on Spring Day 2012.  Just for a little bit. Just enough to bring the proverbial "Wedding Blessings" and to make everything feel new & fresh and full of promise. And then it stopped, and the sun came out, and it was glorious! What a lovely way to start your life as a married couple!

I just love the vintage theme of the Wedding and how Carmen managed to pull it all together from the car, to the décor and the dress. They're such a happy and easy couple to work with, and having gotten over the "camera-nerves" with their Kalk Bay Engagement Shoot, it was so much fun shooting their wedding!

"THIS IS THE START OF YOUR SWEET LITTLE STORY THE PART WHERE YOUR PAGE MEETS MINE. NO MATTER WERE YOUR TALE TAKES YOU, TOMORROW OUR STORY WILL ALWAYS READ LOVE."

I cannot wait to capture the special and intricate moments of Carmen & Tarin's wedding in Spring! These two love-birds are, despite their objections, so easy to photograph and really game for anything! From walking on slippery rocks in the sea, to climbing on industrial machinery, taking snapshots of them is really SO much fun.

Little two-year-old-energy-bundle-Kiara and her parents were so great and easygoing on their Photoshoot, we started the session a bit early with some harsh light that was really unexpected on a beautiful winter's day... so we ended staying longer than planned at Green Point park and were rewarded with the most magical pastel colours in the sky.  I simply love the mood, love and light of this shoot!

Next month marks the 5th Wedding Anniversary of this free-spirited, energetic and dedicated couple.  After all this time, they seem more in love now, then ever before! Despite the predictable wind on Blouberg Beach, I had so much fun and was literally was knee deep in the water. With the happy pair exuding love for each other - it made my job so easy to snap those special moments.
